The Black Mass star opened up at a Q&A at the film fest, first recalling his work on 1997's Donnie Brasco along side Pacino, after Depp told the legendary actor that he was certifiably insane:
"I told him the certifiable part and, with perfect timing, he said, ‘Oh, yeah. You didn't know that? Hey, you know, so you're pretty f*cking strange yourself.'"

Depp also spoke candidly about DiCaprio's work way back when the two filmed What's Eating Gilbert Grape together:
"I respect Leo a lot. He worked really hard on that film, researching and showing up ready to work—and I tortured him. I really did. He was always talking about these video games. ‘No, I will not give you a drag from my cigarette while you hide from your mother again, Leo,' [I would say]."
Depp sure was in a playful mood at the Q&A, wasn't he?!
