So maybe this weekend is for football and not for movies?
The box office results are in from the weekend, and it isn't the greatest thing for Hail, Caesar!, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, OR The Choice!

The George Clooney-led flick Hail, Caesar! only did $11.4 million from over 2,000 theaters this weekend — the LOWEST wide opening in the entire career of director duo bros Ethan and Joel Coen!
For The Choice, inspired by Nicholas Sparks, only $6.1 million of tickets were sold — the LOWEST wide opening in Sparks' entire career, too!
And then for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, the total came to a paltry $5.2 million.
Kung Fu Panda 3 and The Revenant did well domestically and globally, but obviously those movies aren't exactly new releases.
What gives, movie goers?

Bad movies to choose from? No interest at the theaters? Box office fatigue? Or are you just ready for some football?!
