Glad to hear he's doing so much better now, but this is scary!
Matt LeBlanc had it all on the sitcom Friends, but when that ended, the actor realized he was burned out, mentally exhausted, and in need of a break.

He probably just didn't think it'd take SO long to get back to his old self!
In a new and very personal interview, LeBlanc shared what happened with him wanting to stay FAR away from Hollywood when the sitcom ended its run:
"For years and years, I barely left the house. I was burnt out. I wanted to not have a schedule, not be somewhere. I was in a position to do that. My agent was bummed. Most actors call their agents and say, ‘What's going on?' I'd call mine and say, ‘Please lose my number for a few years.' It was a very dark time. I almost had a nervous breakdown."
In the revealing discussion with The Mirror, LeBlanc continued, talking candidly about his daughter, who struggled with a brain condition as a young child:
"My daughter was diagnosed with a problem with her head. It was a very dark period. But I got through it. Don't they say what doesn't kill us makes us stronger?"
Get through it he did — and his daughter is healthy and fine now, too!!!
The new host of Top Gear summed it up best:
"Spending time with her is the best thing I've ever done. We have a great bond and it's the best thing in my life."
That is SO great to hear!
