Centering around a world where all crime — including murder — is legal for 12 hours each year, The Purge makes the Hunger Games look like child's play!
But that might change in Purge 3: Election Year, because Senator Charlene Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell) is a frontrunner in the Presidential election due to her vow to eliminate the annual Purge!
In the trailer (above), the Senator is betrayed on the night of what should be the last and final Purge — and forced to survive the night on the perilous streets with her head of security Leo Barnes (Frank Grillo)!
We're glad SOMEONE is finally trying to put an end to the fictional holiday, which in the movie is commemorated on March 21!
