It wasn't too long ago that Rebel Wilson was in hot water for "lying" about her age.
However, in a recent interview, the How To Be Single star essentially called the controversy silly and is vehement that she "doesn't have skeletons in her closet."
As we previously reported, Woman's Day magazine revealed back in May that the Pitch Perfect actress' real name is Melanie Bownds and that she is actually 35-years-old. Aca-awkward!

However, it seems that the blonde beauty is shrugging off the "scandal" by claiming her age wasn't really a secret. On all the drama, Miz Wilson commented:
"If I was guilty of something which, I mean, I don't really have any skeletons in my closet — which is why it's quite hard for people to write bad stuff about me. You know, I don't have a drug addiction, or secret child. But I think, when I did go to America, I kind of just stopped saying my age."
Hey, she's just being ladylike by not talking about how old she is! Right??
"It's Hollywood, come on, people. The reality is, when you work in America, you have to show your passport and your visa for every single job, so it's not like you can hide how old you are.
So for the press to do a story that I was deliberately, you know, lying or whatever… No, I was just being a lady and not telling my age when I moved to America. And that's not really a crime. Also, most actresses do that. Most women do that."
That's a fair point.
What do YOU think?! Would you ever lie about your age??
