If this is true, it is absolutely crazy!

Teresa Giudice has certainly been through a lot this past year.
In case you forgot, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star was released from prison back in December after serving an almost year long sentence for fraud. Yikes!
Where most people would've been defeated by their situation, it seems the mother-of-four was resolute in staying strong during her sentence. Why, you may ask?
Well, for her kiddos obviously.
"I wanted them to live their life, I didn't want them to be sad. When they came to see me they always smiled, they told me things that were going on. I was lifting them up and they were lifting me up."
Well that's good to hear. Still, it doesn't mean the experience wasn't necessarily heartbreaking for the famous family — especially after their rough first visit on the inside. The Bravolebrity continued:
"I think we all teared up and my husband [Joe Giudice] broke down every single time he came to see me."
While Juicy Joe may've been all tears, it seems that Teresa's upbringing helped her save face in front of her brood. She noted:
"Growing up…My dad didn't want to see tears growing up. I was not allowed to cry. So that's why I'm really strong that way, too. I didn't see my parents cry at all…So that's why it takes a lot for me to cry."
However, that doesn't mean Teresa didn't let herself get emotional while in the big house. In a different sit down, the 43-year-old talked about not being able to phone her daughter Milania on her birthday after accidentally using up all of her minutes.
"I was so upset, oh my God. That day I cried so much. The officer said to me did you ever play poker before? I'm like, no and he's like you know when you run out of chips? I was like, 'Yeah,' and basically that was it."
Oof! Apparently, the inmates were given 300 minutes of phone time a month to use. Luckily, Teresa had access to email and was able to explain the hiccup. The New Jersey mom shared:
"I didn't know how to check my minutes and how you run out and 300 go so quick. So then I had to be without a phone for two weeks. I have never been away from my kids before and I have never missed any of their birthdays. I mean even in prison you can call your kids and wish them a happy birthday so he was just kind of heartless."
That's brutal! Nonetheless, it seems that the RHONJ celeb is enjoying being back home. Though, we do wonder how the Giudice clan feels about their momma promoting her new prison memoir Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again??
