Who saw THIS coming?!

We figured Deadpool would show out pretty well, but raise your hand if you expected Ryan Reynolds' new flick to set a box office record!

The flick, which of course just opened over Valentine's Day/Presidents Day weekend, took home a record $47.5 million on Friday!

That puts it in line for a roughly $117 million gross for the entire weekend, and a VERY strong four-day total of about $130 million across the entire holiday weekend!

If you want a reference, that puts it in the top-10 comic book movie openings EVER, and it's the largest opening in superhero movie history for an R-rated flick!

Tracking before the weekend thought that the movie might do about $70 million these few days — and it more than doubled that amount!!!

By comparison now, Zoolander 2 and How To Be Single look like nothing now!

The sequel of Ben Stiller's infamous first film nearly two decades ago, Zoolander 2 is expected to total just about $18 million across the four-day weekend, putting it firmly in last place for the big three new openings behind How To Be Single.

That R-rated romantic comedy with Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, and others is all set to take in about $21 million for its four-day haul.

But still, none of it even comes close to touching Deadpool… and all we can say is WOW!

Have U seen any of these three flicks in theaters yet?!
