This is so unacceptable!!

Singer Jayme Dee has posted a story to Instagram in support of Kesha, after the star's bid to get out of her contract with Dr. Luke was denied on Friday.

The tale told by Jayme Dee is horrifying — she recounts a similar experience she had with a music producer in a studio (below):

I was a senior in high school on my first real-deal writing session. He was a 40yr old Grammy winner. He rejected initial requests to write together, but after seeing me in person, scheduled a session later that week.

We finished writing our song, then offered me a glass of wine (I declined) and asked me to sit next to him so he could show me a Brazilian record he just produced for his ex-girlfriend. Convenient. He dimmed the lights because his "eyes were hurting him", and I couldn't help but feel like he was putting the moves on me, but I kept telling myself I was crazy. I mentioned my boyfriend just in case he had any ideas, but I shouldn't have had to.
He grazed my arm and leaned in for a kiss. I backed away, made a b-line to the exit, drove home in tears, and luckily never had to see him again. His name would come up in meetings and I would feel redness saturate my whole body. I can only imagine what Kesha is going through, being contractually and emotionally held hostage by her rapist producer, Dr. Luke. The legal system has failed her.

It is no secret young women are taken advantage of in the music industry, and I guarantee every girl out there has at least a couple creepy stories, some worse than others. It is awful that we constantly tell women to speak up, but then punish them for their honesty. #FreeKesha
