The Kesha controversy continues.
On Tuesday, video was released showing snippets of the singer's June 2011 deposition in a lawsuit against both her and Dr. Luke.
At the time, she and the Sony producer were both being sued by a manager, and the blonde was asked about allegations her mother had supposedly made against the songsmith.

In these fragments from the video testimony, the pop princess is shown getting sworn in under oath, and saying that Luke "never made sexual advances" at her.
When asked if Dr. Luke had ever given her a date rape drug, she replied:
These clips were also spliced together with some from her momma's October 2011 deposition, in which the musician's parent claimed she didn't hear anything about a sexual relationship between her daughter and Dr. Luke, and also stated that she hadn't known anything about the hitmaker slipping the celeb any drugs.
The producer had recently referenced these statements on Twitter to defend his side of the story, and the leaked footage was obtained by one of his sources.
But before making judgments about how this relates to Kesha's current case, it is important to note that based on the time stamps in the video, it's clear the clip had been edited and it's possible these questions could have been taken out of context.
It should also be noted that these depositions were filmed in 2011 — the performer's sexual abuse lawsuit wasn't filed until 2014.
As Demi Lovato powerfully pointed out, it is often difficult for victims of assault to come forward about their experiences. We respect that about all victims' experiences, so we want to warn anyone who may be triggered by watching this video.
If you feel inclined, you can take a look at the footage (below):
There are many things to consider in this complicated case.
