Kim Richards is obviously still struggling with the loss of her ex-husband Monty Brinson.
On Tuesday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum opened up to Entertainment Tonight about her emotional exchange with her former flame prior to his untimely death.
In case you forgot, the supermarket franchise heir passed away back in January after battling cancer for some time. He was 58.

The blonde beauty shared:
"He was glad that he was going first cause he didn't think he could bear it if it were me and then he had to be left here. I said, 'I love you,' and then I felt him just kind of leave, and it was shocking. I just didn't expect it."
We can only imagine how hard this whole experience has been, especially since the duo remained close toward the end of Brinson's life. The twosome were married for three years back in the '80s and have a daughter, Brooke, together.
Luckily, this family tragedy hasn't uprooted Kim's sobriety as the Bravolebrity confirmed:
"My recovery is going amazing."
Phew! Previously, the former child star was arrested for public intoxication and shoplifting which resulted in her stints in rehab.
Not to mention, Monty was an incredible source of support for Kim during that particularly rough period in her life.
Here's hoping Kim will be able to put all this drama and heartbreak behind her as she attempts to mend her relationship with her daughter Kimberly Jackson on Lifetime's The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition.
Be sure to tune in to see the drama unfold on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST.
