Gonzales advertised her services on popular nanny website Care.com — which states on its website that it is not responsible for "conduct of any care provider or care seeker."
The company released the following statement about the incident:
"We are deeply troubled by this incident and our thoughts are with the family. The safety of our community is of paramount importance to us and we have proactively contacted local law enforcement to provide whatever assistance we can in this matter."
Thankfully, the child wasn't injured. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
