Well this could be career re-defining!
Charlie Sheen and Whoopi Goldberg are both known for their comedic abilities — amongst other things — which makes their latest castings all the more surprising.
It was announced on Monday that the two Golden Globe winners have joined a new movie called Nine Eleven about the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City.

Both Charlie and Whoopi are from New York, which makes their additions to the independent action-drama all the more emotional.
In fact, Charlie has already issued a statement about his casting, saying:
"I feel deeply connected to the material and I'm so excited to be working with my dear friend Whoopi Goldberg."
We're sure she feels the same!
Nine Eleven tells the story of a group of people trapped in an elevator, doing anything they can to survive. Sounds harrowing!
The film begins shooting Monday with a supporting cast including Luis Guzman, Wood Harris, and Olga Fonda, but there is no word yet on when the film is expected to arrive in theaters.
Do U think it's too soon for Hollywood to be making yet another 9/11 movie??
