OK, so they're together, but not like together together...

On Wednesday, it was revealed that the music corporation is reportedly planning on ending its working relationship with the industry vet a year prior to his contract's expiration date. Oh snap!
Of course, this blow comes shortly after A-listers like Adele, Taylor Swift, and Ariana Grande all vocalized their support for the blonde beauty — who accused Dr. Luke of verbal and sexual abuse. Not to mention, Kelly Clarkson also called out the controversial executive by saying she was "blackmailed" into working with him by SM.
"There is no contest. Kesha has no case in regards to her contract but they can't afford the Adeles of the world out in the streets calling the label unsupportive. The fact that this hasn't already been taken care of with Luke is confusing, especially for people in the building."
Yikes! It probably doesn't help that fans have taken to protesting in front of the business' building in support of the pop starlet.
It is currently unknown how Sony plans to terminate their business relationship with 42-year-old as he signed a five year contract back in 2011. Apparently, the tough decision falls upon the shoulders of CEO Doug Morris and his boss, Sony Entertainment CEO Michael Lynton.
A second insider noted:
"Somebody has been convicted via Twitter. No court has convicted this person, so there may not be any legal basis to terminate an agreement. It would have to be mutual."
Aren't you glad you aren't those two right now??
Nonetheless, the company has since declined to comment on the matter. Well, that's not a good sign for the music producer.
Be sure to ch-ch-check back for updates surrounding this complicated case!
