The gorgeous guy revealed to the glossy that he no longer cares what tabloids have to say, because he's feeling good about being a family man!
"I'm secure as a person, as a husband, as a dad. I've gone past the point of really worrying, caring."
"I get physically ill when I have to leave the kids now."
Awwwww. That's TOO sweet.
However, it's not just his kids he misses! The 40-year-old also lamented about hanging up his jersey, saying:
"I miss soccer every day. I don't know whether it's the athlete in me, or the passion I have for the game: I always think that I can step back on the field and play…"
In fact, he even shared that he might've returned to the field for a year if he and his brood were living stateside, adding:
"You know, maybe I could play another year in the U.S. If I was still living in L.A., I'd probably really seriously think about coming back for a year. But we're living in London, and the kids are happy in the school…"
And, being the proud poppa he is, it's pretty clear that his kids come first!
