Gwen Stefani is an international pop superstar with decades of performance experience and musical relevance under her belt.
So, when Blake Shelton asked the former No Doubt frontwoman to be his advisor on the current season of The Voice, he did so for obvious reasons — because she's easy on the eyes!
On Monday's episode of the NBC singing competition, the country crooner introduced "the great Gwen Stefani" to two singers from his team, Adam Wakefield and Jared Harder — who were set to duet Can't You See by the Marshall Tucker Band in the Battle Rounds.

Joking about her lack of country expertise, Stefani told the singers:
"Blake wanted to bring in an expert to help you guys, so he called me."
After Shelton quipped that Gwen was a "country music expert," the Make Me Like You songstress added:
"I'm getting there though. I love working outside of my lane."
Hmmm… is that a hint at their country duet on Blake's upcoming album!?
Before they got down to business, Shelton added another reason why Stefani was good to have as a mentor, jesting:
"Also, she's hot."
Well, at least he's honest!
