James has since gone public with the story talking to several outlets and even posting a video on Facebook retelling the CRAZY story (below). He even revealed to WSOC-TV that:
"For the first time I got put in handcuffs."
Concord police of course have responded to the story, saying:
"The warrant, which is signed by a magistrate, directs law enforcement officials to arrest a person and take them before a judicial official without unnecessary delay to answer to the charges."
"Later in the day, Meyers came to the Concord Police Department to be served with the arrest warrant. Officers took Meyers to the Cabarrus County Magistrate's Office where they assisted him in getting a written promise to appear in court. Officers are required by policy to handcuff anyone prior to entering the secured area inside the of the magistrate's office."
"My metabolism actually changed like crazy this year. I have Hashimoto's disease. It's a thyroid disease, and it's now been two years since taking the medication for it, so for the VS show I didn't want to lose any more weight, I just want to have muscles in the right place, and if my butt can get a little perkier, then that's good."
