Everybody makes mistakes, but it sounds like she's ready to move forward.
As you may have read over the weekend, retired Soccer star Abby Wambach was arrested early Sunday morning for a DUI in Portland, Or.
The 35-year-old was booked at about 2 a.m. PST after failing a field sobriety test, and now she's apologizing for her lapse in judgement.

Abby took full responsibility for her mistake in a Facebook post late Sunday afternoon, saying:
"Last night I was arrested for DUII in Portland after dinner at a friend's house.
Those that know me, know that I have always demanded excellence from myself. I have let myself and others down.
I take full responsibility for my actions. This is all on me. I promise that I will do whatever it takes to ensure that my horrible mistake is never repeated.
I am so sorry to my family, friends, fans and those that look to follow a better example."
She seems quite apologetic for her actions, and we hope she can at least use this as a moment to teach others about drunk driving.
Do U believe Abby is sorry for what she did? And can you forgive her??
