This will be quite the role change!
Alex Wolff, best known for his work on Nickelodeon with The Naked Brothers Band and other FAR more light-hearted work, has been now confirmed to be attached to a new project about the two Boston Marathon bombers.

In the new flick, which is called Patriots Day and will be out in December, Wolff is set to portray Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the younger of the two brothers who bombed the Boston Marathon back in 2013.
Three people were killed in that horrific attack, with more than 250 others injured, many severely.
Of course, Dzhokhar survived the incident and aftermath only to be taken into custody after hiding in a boat in the backyard of a home, though his older brother and co-conspirator Tamerlan was killed in a shootout with police soon after the bombing.
The film is set to primarily follow the police tasked with investigating the bombing after it happened. It is also starring Themo Melikidze, Mark Wahlberg, John Goodman, and Kevin Bacon.
This role will be a big challenge — and on an important topic — for Wolff, but we are excited to see how he does with it!
