Well, it seems this big sis wasn't having any of it!
Koko took to Twitter on Monday with a very cryptic message about all the "sh*t", writing:

Superheroes are all the rage, and no one knows that better than Disney.
And Freeform — formerly ABC Family and still very much in the Mouse fam — is taking advantage of its parent company's Marvel ties!
The network known for Pretty Little Liars has just greenlit a new live action series based on the Marvel comic book Cloak and Dagger!
Not only did the show get the go ahead, but Variety learned that it was given a straight-to-series order! Talk about faith in superheroes!
The show is described as a superhero love story, in which starcrossed heroes Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson discover they have powers — Tandy can produce deadly shards of light, and Tyrone can envelop people in darkness — they decide to become superheroes and dub themselves Cloak and Dagger!
Though there hasn't been a writer attached to the series yet, there's a possibly hiccup in the storytelling as the crime fighting duo is quite often referred to as "mutants" in the comics. Since 20th Century Fox owns the rights to the X-Men franchise which includes the word "mutant," the series will have to figure out another origin…
It's very possible they will go with the drug cocktail route; the young heroes have sometimes been written as having gotten their powers after a scientist tests a synthetic form of heroin on them.
Cloak and Dagger will mark Freeform's first big step into the comic book world as as they seem to be following their sister network ABC which has both Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter — not to mention the upcoming AoS spinoff Marvel's Most Wanted and another super secret project from John Ridley.
Seeing as how the network formerly known as ABC Family is geared towards a bit younger audience, and Netflix's Marvel show Daredevil and Jessica Jones are both violent and graphic, this appears to be Disney trying to pull in a younger audience.
As for where will this show will exist in the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe, only time will tell. In the Civil War comics, Cloak was a crucial member of Team Cap — though we're obviously WAY late for that to happen!
