For someone not involved with the project, she sure talks about it a lot…
While literally the entire rest of the original cast is returning for Netflix's 4-part revival later this year, the actress is once again denying rumors that she's secretly going to be joining Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham.
Melissa sat down with People and Entertainment Weekly Editorial Director Jess Cagle for an interview out Thursday where she confirmed (again) that Sookie will not be making a secret cameo, saying:
"I would be very surprised if that happens.
So she's saying there's a chance?
Melissa went on to praise the Amy Sherman-Palladino-led revival in the same interview, saying:
"I'm excited they're doing [it,] I think it's great. I get more questions about Gilmore than anything else. The fan base is so remarkable to me, and I'm really proud of that show. I actually am excited for my girls, when they're a little older, to start watching that. I think it was a really great show, and I love that those characters are going to come back. It just, timing-wise, was not right [for me.]"
She hasn't even shown her kids the show that made her famous yet?! We guess they're more Tammy fans. Ha!
We sure hope The Boss was worth disappointing all her loyal fans… LOLz!!!
Will U be tuning in to the Gilmore Girls reboot with or without Melissa later this year??
