Ruby Rose's fame has totally skyrocketed ever since she landed a role on Orange Is The New Black!
The gorgeous gal has amassed millions of followers on social media, and is continuing to add a few films to her rapidly-growing resumé.
You would think that achieving huge stardom in such a short period of time would be super exciting, right?

Well, the Aussie actress says that it's not always the best feeling, explaining to Galore magazine:
"The funny thing about being called an 'It girl' is, well, it's the kiss of death. You know what I mean? It's like being 'in.' Anything that's 'in fashion' ultimately goes out of fashion."
She makes a good point!
The 30-year-old also admitted that her celebrity status is not the most important thing to her, saying:
"It's also not healthy to base your personal success or happiness on external things, like fame, attention, opinion, or money. The less you let that define you the better. Let your passion and work speak for you. As long as you are happy with it, that's all that should matter."
And with that higher level of success came high levels of adoration, particularly from her female fans! In fact, many women claimed the seXXXy star "turned them gay!"
So, OBVIOUSLY, Ruby just had to comment on their crazy confessions, responding:
"When people say to me that I turned them gay, I just laugh, because that's not really even a possibility. I just think that, as human beings, we are drawn to what we can't have. We are drawn to fantasy over reality, and often are in love with an idea of a situation rather than the reality of it. I think people like the idea of 'turning gay for someone,' but it's not actually that simple. Ultimately, that statement is just a form of endearment or a compliment, but it's not real."
Well, whether or not those admirers are actually gay, we can all agree that Ruby is incredibly attractive! Need proof? Ch-ch-check out her steamy spread in the gallery above!
