Wait, how is this even possible?!
In a candid interview with The Edit, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner got real about her self-esteem issues. Even though it's hard to believe, the gorgeous and fit Turner hasn't always felt confident about her physique.

The actress first discovered her insecurities when filming her upcoming action flick, X-Men: Apocalypse. Considering the role required a lot of form fitting outfits, Sophie began to see her body in a different light, an experience she was able to avoid in GOT's dress code of flowy gowns and loose threads.
Speaking on confronting her body issues, the 20-year-old explained:
"Before I got [the trainer], I went through a bit of a dark place, I was not happy with myself. I think for me, and for every young girl out there, body image is such a big thing, especially if you are in the public eye. People comment on [your appearance] and… Eugh."
Dayum… sounds like a hard time! It just goes to show that it's common for all types of women to feel unsure of their looks!
Luckily for Soph, she was able to overcome her issues when she began to embrace the benefits of a healthier lifestyle:
"So when I was forced to get into shape and eat healthily, my skin cleared up and I felt energetic all the time. It totally changed me."
We're glad to hear Turner is doing much better — who can hate on clear skin and loads of energy? Sounds ideal!
Continue to keep your head up, girl! We can't wait to see you kick butt in your upcoming premieres!
