Sarandon spoke quickly when EW asked about whether it's sexist to believe a woman should be supporting Clinton:
"Yes, of course. It's sexist to imagine that a woman is doing anything based on her gender. I mean, you have the right to choose everything. I think it really does women a disservice to think they would be influenced by gender and not the issues."
In that, Sarandon makes a pretty decent point — she acknowledges that if she were to vote for Hillary just because the candidate is a woman, then Sarandon probably should have been supporting Sarah Palin for the same reasons!
The brunette shared a sweet photo with her former flame and penned a heartbreaking caption in his memory.
The late sports star's longtime love reflected on their time together, writing:
