First there was Cheryl Tweedy. Then there was Cheryl Cole. Now, it's just Cheryl.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has gone through a lot of different names throughout her career, but it sounds like she's finally going to stick to just one.
That's because it was reported on Wednesday that the 32-year-old pop star will be going simply by her first name Cheryl starting next month.

Apparently, Cheryl wants to rebrand herself following her breakup with Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini and will make her mononym debut at the Global Gift Gala in Paris this May.
A source close to the X Factor judge confirmed the name change to Daily Mirror, saying:
"Cheryl wants to wipe the slate clean and start afresh with a new name, now the divorce is going through. Things turned pretty nasty over the weekend, with both Cheryl and Jean-Bernard making comments on social media, so from hereon in, she will just be known as Cheryl.
Her last album in 2014 was released under the name Cheryl, too, but everyone still called her by her new married name. This time around, everyone is under strict instructions that she is just Cheryl, nothing else. Organizers at next month's event were told that all announcements of Cheryl's attendance should only refer to her as Cheryl."
It's worked for Adele, Rihanna, and Beyoncé, so we get why she's making the change.
Although, we're not sure a THIRD rebranding is the smartest business move…
Do U think "Cheryl" on its own will catch on??
