Michael Strahan kept quiet about his new job over at Good Morning America, but now its Kelly Ripa whose lips are sealed!
After Strahan's announcement earlier this week that he would be leaving Live, Ripa felt "hurt and beyond betrayed" by the way her bosses at ABC kept her out of the loop.
So much so, that the perky blonde didn't show up to work on Wednesday, and even cancelled her pre-planned trip to Turks & Caicos to celebrate her 20th anniversary with Mark Consuelos.

Though production is hoping she returns to work next Tuesday, Ripa is staying silent — and even though Strahan reportedly tried to reach out to her, his cohost of four years seems to be giving him the cold shoulder!
On inside source told People:
"Michael has called her and reached out to her and texted her, and she is not acknowledging him…Nobody knows if she will return to work Tuesday or not, and the people are very nervous. They're flying blind. The longer she stays silent the more concerned they get."
Wow, we wonder if this is some power move the 45-year-old learned from Malcolm Gladwell's book she was spotted reading — David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants!
Even if the 45-year-old decides to come back to work next week, there's a good chance she won't be sitting beside the former New York Giants star. Another source said:
"I don't believe that co-hosting together is a viable option anymore. Anything is possible, but that doesn't seem like a viable option. Practically, it's a different dynamic now."
After such a public shake up, we can only imagine how awkward it would be for the two of them to play nice!

Though the same source explained Kelly's "issue" isn't so much with Strahan as it is with her bosses, adding:
"She and Michael always had a decent relationship. Her issue here is with the management's actions…She has to decide whether she can sit there with Michael again. It doesn't seem like that's going to be something possible. But she's trying to make a smart decision not a rash decision."
As for Strahan, a source close to the former athlete says that leaving Live early to appease Ripa is "a conversation that has not been had yet." But we have a feeling he wouldn't mind tapping out of this daytime sh*tstorm! LOLz!
The source adds that Strahan wants Ripa to come back because he's "a professional guy," and is "holding the show together" until Kelly makes a move.
But what that next move will be is a question that's making the production grow nervous. The source added:
"Nothing is changing until everyone finds out for some reason that Kelly is not coming Tuesday. Then that's a whole other conversation. It's business as usual for Michael. He's not getting in the way of her coming back."
We guess we'll have to wait until Tuesday's show to see what happens!
