Time Magazine honored the most influential people Tuesday night at their event the Time 100 Gala and Melissa McCarthy brought the house down!

That's because the Bridesmaids actress gave a speech honoring all the amazing people and stars in the room — and she was absolutely HIGHlarious of course!

The 45-year-old started off by pretending to read another speech she plans to read at the ESPYS before praising the rest of the room and joking about Ariana Grande saying:

"And in one way or another, everybody in this room simply forged ahead. And thinking outside the box like that will change the world. And it doesn't matter how small or how big - there's people fighting for human rights and medical cures and making the world happier by singing amazing songs like Ariana out of that little tiny body. I don't understand how that works."

Even though the comedic actress is getting ready to promote her next big movie Ghostbusters, a lot of her fans are more curious about her involvement with the Gilmore Girls revival — and the good news is, she has an update:

"I went back and visited about two weeks ago and saw the sets again and everybody on them. Oh, my God, it was so sad. I got so sentimental. And it felt like the greatest idea in the world. It was lovely."

Ch-ch-check out Melissa's HIGHlarious toast (below) and let us know if you're more excited for Ghostbusters or the Gilmore Girls revival!
