In an interview with BBC, the human rights lawyer — who specializes in public international law — spoke out on the "very crucial" U.S. election — specifically, the GOP frontrunner.
"If you actually look at what [Trump] specifically says in that now-infamous speech about Muslims, he kept saying, 'They only want jihad … they don't believe in our way of life; they don't respect our system.' And when he says ‘they'… People should've been saying, 'Do you mean the 1.5 billion people around the world who fit that description? Do you mean the people who are US citizens, who are members of your military, the vast majority of whom are not extremist or violent in any way?'"
Umm… why wasn't this brilliant beauty moderating the debates?! Oh right, she was busy protecting human rights…
While George Clooney's wife made it clear she wouldn't care for a Trump presidency, she thinks that him getting beaten by Hillary Clinton would "send a very positive message," adding:
"If, at the end of all of this, he gets beaten by the person who becomes the first female president of the United States, then I think that would send a very positive message from the electorate back to him as to what they really think about that point of view."
AH-Mazing! We couldn't agree more!
Ch-ch-check out a clip of the interview (below) to hear Amal's eloquent slam!
As we reported, after Erin Moran passed away this weekend, former costar Scott Baio wrote a touching post on Facebook praising the actresses' "contagious smile, warm heart, and animal loving soul." According to Harrison County, Indiana authorities, the thespian who played Joanie Cunningham most likely died due to complications from stage 4 cancer.
Sadly, Baio -- for some stupid reason -- decided to do a 180 after paying tribute to his Happy Days love interest.
