Between a rock and a bigoted place…
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are two of the most famous celebs to take part in the North Carolina boycott, and now we're learning a bit more about what drove them out of the state.
As you've probably heard by now, musical acts like Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr, and even Cirque du Soleil have all cancelled their upcoming shows in NC due to their anti-LGBT House Bill 2, and the former Disney stars jumped on the bandwagon last Monday.

The Future Now Tour was originally supposed to hit Charlotte and Raleigh on June 30 and July 2… but that's no longer in the cards.
Nick spoke about the difficult decision to potentially upset North Carolina fans while at the Propel pop-up fitness studio in Venice on Wednesday, saying:
"It's a tough thing and what makes it more tough is I have family in North Carolina and friends there. On top of the disappointment I'm sure some fans felt, I've got personal disappointment. Demi and I felt strongly that we had to take a firm stand and make a bold statement and it felt like the best option was to cancel the shows. We're grateful for the fans that have supported [our decision] and understand it. Hopefully, we'll see things change. It's a tough situation for everybody."
We heavily doubt any of your fans are going to be disappointed, Nick.
If anything, your queer fans in the South will thank you for supporting them! Right?
Do U think Nick and Demi did the right thing by cancelling their shows in North Carolina??
