This story just gets worse and worse!
According to TMZ, on Thursday cops raided Prince's personal pharmacy (he visited the location four times before his death), in Minnesota in an effort to track down prescription records. The news comes on the heels of a search warrant obtained by authorities to comb through the singer's Paisley Park mansion for additional evidence.
Sources say the police are trying to gain more insight into the icon's death, especially after word of his alleged Percocet addiction surfaced. Some cops believe doctors and pharmacists doled out the drug illegally to the 57-year-old over the years, which ultimately led to his untimely death on April 21.
To make matters more upsetting, police records show there were two other medical emergencies reported at the musician's home in the past nine months. While we can't confirm whether or not Prince was the one who needed attention in these instances, it wouldn't be a stretch in light of his emergency landing on April 15.
Hopefully these searches will provide us with more insight as to how the beloved legend died. Fans and his loved ones deserve some sense of closure during this difficult time.
