WARNING: Major Game Of Thrones spoilers (below)!
Well, we can't say we didn't see that coming.
On Sunday, it was FINALLY confirmed whether or not the beloved character Jon Snow would remain dead for the rest of the HBO show. Oh man!

As many fans theorized would happen, the powerful Melisandre came to the late Lord Commander's aide by channeling some serious magic to bring him back to life in the final moments of the episode. Called it!
In case you forgot, at the end of last season Ned Stark's bastard was brutally slaughtered by his fellow Night's Watch brothers. While the show's creators and Kit Harington all remained tight lipped about Snow's fate, viewers couldn't bring themselves to believe that the beloved character was actually gone — especially after Kit was spotted near the set and maintained his beard and hair the same way it is on the show.
On his character's big revival, he shared:
"Sorry! I'd like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I'm glad that people were upset that he died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care. Or it would just be, 'Fine, Jon Snow's dead.' But it seems like people had a, similar to the Red Wedding episode, kind of grief about it. Which means something I'm doing — or the show is doing — is right."
Aww! We forgive you, Kit!
Carice van Houten, who plays the magical Red Woman, dished about the scene:
"We shot the sh*t out of it. I've touched Kit's body, I've cleaned him I don't know, 55,000 times. To the point where I was like, 'Can he just wake up now?'
I joked with him. I said, 'If only my mother would be here,' because my mother and my sister both have a crush on him. [Harington] really enjoys when I say that. He's met my mother two times or something and he's always sort of flirty with my mother, it's really cute. My mother says at home, 'He's just like a son,' she's trying to hide the fact that she thinks he's a gorgeous man. He's really cute. So I had a lot of fun with him in that sense, 'If only my mother was here,' and he has a ripped body, he's a beautiful young man. But most of all he's a really generous actor and a really sweet guy, but it was a long resurrection. For that little thing it was a long day."
Still, just because Jon is back for season six, that doesn't mean he'll survive the rest of the series. You know we're right…
