This is one rollercoaster of a rumor!
The Tower of Terror has been one of Disney's iconic attractions for quite some time now, but is Disneyland itching to do away with the beloved ride?
According to MiceChat, a rumor has started this spring that the Twilight Zone-themed thrill ride in Disney California Adventure will be remade into a Guardians of the Galaxy attraction!

The blog claims that the backstory based on the creepy television series will be axed and replaced with one about GotG's Collector character.
According to the site, park execs have been testing out the new story in front of DCA cast members for months, but got upset when the info supposedly leaked online this spring.
The team at Disney reportedly told hourly employees not to believe the rumors, but the blog is adamant that this major change is actually happening.
MiceChat says the Tower would close in the fall so that the revamped, Guardians-themed ride would be able to open the following May.
While one report says the same thing could happen in Orlando, Florida's Disney World, WDW News Today says California Adventure is the only park planning the renovation.
We're a little skeptical that the entertainment giant would want to completely change the drop tower's theme, but what do U think, Perezcious readers?
