There's no argument Celine Dion is one of the biggest living music icons.
And later this month, the My Heart Will Go On singer will finally have the trophy to prove it when she receives the ICON Award at this year's Billboard Music Awards!
The legendary performer will receive the honor and perform Queen's The Show Must Go On at the ceremony — conveniently located right down the street from her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace!

Past winners of the lifetime-achievement award include Jennifer Lopez in 2014, Prince in 2013, Stevie Wonder in 2012, and Neil Diamond in 2011.
Marco Bracco, the show's executive producer, had this to say about the 48-year-old's selection:
"Celine Dion has a huge repertoire of monster hits and she personally chose to perform 'The Show Must Go On' as her ICON performance on the Billboard Music Awards. I think at this moment in her life, the song has many meanings and it's an amazing choice."
This is indeed quite the emotional year for Celine, after suffering the loss of her husband and former manager René Angélil, who died of throat cancer in January.
With that in mind, we're sure the hitmaker has a moving performance in store come showtime.

In addition to Queen Celine, the BBMA has no shortage of superstar performances lined up. Britney Spears will also perform a medley of her hits after she receives the Millennium Award.
And with performances from Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, and Pink to look forward to, the 2016 Billboard Music Awards is definitely a can't miss event!
Catch Dion's touching performance when the show airs live on May 22 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC!
