On Wednesday we told you Kanye West reportedly fired a member of his security team after the guard was allegedly trying to approach Kim Kardashian West!
Well now we've got both sides of the story.
In a sit down interview with DailyMail, the security detail in question, Steve Stanulis, says he was never trying to hit on the KUWTK star during their stay in NYC.

According to his account, the former cop/Chippendales dancer was just trying to figure out when Kimye would be ready to leave for the Met Gala — as he had received word that plans had been changed:
"They were getting ready for Met Gala. I was sitting downstairs in the Waldorf, and it was around 6pm. I got some information that they were looking to rent a Lamborghini, or something of that nature. He said they had called their driver down to see if he could obtain the sports car. He tried, but he couldn't as it was last minute.
I went upstairs to see what was happening as we were supposed to be driving them. I just wanted to make sure we were ready when they were ready. I went up to the floor to the Presidential Suite. I was walking and the door was open and I happened to see Kim. I thought I'd ask her or the other security or assistant if there was a change of plan. As I was walking up to Kim and the room, Kanye walked by. He came from around the corner and saw me walking towards the room. I turned around and said 'Hey Mr West… how you doing?'"
Stanulis — who has watched after the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire — says Ye just glared past him and slammed the door shut:
"So I went back downstairs. I told the driver I had no idea what was going on."
Minutes later, Stanulis says someone from Kanye's camp came down and told him he would not be needed to take the family to the airport the next day.
This is when Stanulis says he realized the family left for the Ball without him… and didn't even leave a glass slipper! LOL!
When asked if he had been flirting with the 36-year-old reality star, Stanulis said:
"I had no intention on hitting on Kim Kardashian. I am happily married. I got enough problems in the world and three young kids, so that was not my intent. She's a very beautiful girl, very attractive. But obviously it was just to see if they were going to get to the Met Gala at a particular time … I didn't hit on Kim. Kanye has so much in his life. He should be thankful and be grateful for people who work so hard to keep him safe and happy."
He added of the fashion designer's character:
"I would say that I have been blessed in my life to meet all different types of people in all different walks of life from super A-list to homeless people when I was a police officer in a project. But I would say he is probably the most self -absorbed person I have ever met in my life. Keeping up with the Kardashians… unfortunately, I was keeping up with Kanye."
We probably could've told you that.
Meanwhile, Yeezy's camp is obviously denying everything — saying that Stanulis was just a temporary hire.
According to TMZ, Kim and Kanye's lead security brought Stanulis on just for the Met Gala, but after all of this drama he won't be asked back.
We have a feeling he probably won't want to be anyway!
