What a Mess! Will this legal battle ever end?!
In a promo clip MTV released on Tuesday, Leah Messer revealed that her ex-husband Corey Simms is seeking primary custody of the six-year-old twins they share, Aliannah and Aleeah.
Hold the phone! Didn't a judge JUST grant these two joint custody earlier this year?
Well, it looks like the famous father doesn't care for the court's decision, because he's filed legal docs to be the main custodian of their daughters.
The Teen Mom 2 alum broke the news to her sister in the preview video, saying:
"Corey filed these papers. He turned around and filed an objection to be the primary custodian."
The 24-year-old admitted the objection caught her off guard, since she and her former flame had been behaving better around each other, adding:
"I spoke to him after the hearing and everything went great. You know, we were actually kind of communicating and I thought that we were going to be able to coparent the way we used to."
"Who cares? Why are you making a big deal out of nothing? I know plenty of parents that've done joint custodian to be civil. I mean, if you're both good parents then there should be nothing wrong."
The girl makes a fair point. Which is probably why she's so upset about why he decided to file the objection in the first place, explaining:
"And then he says that he should be the primary custodian because they go to school in his district and whatever. I was 'No, I do everything. Maybe I should be the primary custodian.'"
Well, the TV personality tried that once before and actually ended up losing custody to her ex…
However, the blonde beauty says that this time, the poppa-of-three isn't taking her to court for the right reasons, admitting:
"Now it's a control thing. He jumps into this family lifestyle and feels like he's the better parent. He's the more stable parent. He needs them."
But Miz Messer just wants this whole thing to be over.
"I really hope that it comes to an end for my girls."
In fact, the lovely lady is so furious that the 26-year-old is continuing their court battle and making things difficult for their daughters, that she basically said she wouldn't mind if he died, exclaiming:
"To do what he does to my kids, I don't care if he takes another breath. And I don't know what else to do. All I can do is fight against it. That's all I can do."
