So far, Donald Trump has been able to get away with A LOT of ridiculous things.
Whether the former Celebrity Apprentice star is being a misogynistic jerk or just incredibly racist, he's said some pretty deplorable things that we didn't think ANY presidential nominee could get away with!
Surprisingly — and we don't mean that in a good way — the 69-year-old was able to pull off the big GOP victory as Ted Cruz and John Kasich have both recently dropped out making the orange-y orange Twitter troll the presumptive Republican nominee.
Since earning that title, it seems that Trump might be letting his true colors show as he has flip-flopped on his tax plan that so many Republican Party members were behind.
During the primaries, Trump's plan was to give the top 0.1% of income earners an average tax cut of somewhere around $1.3 million according to the non-partisan Tax Policy Center. As for the middle class, they would only receive about a $2,700 break — and yes, Trump is part of that 0.1%. Try not to act too surprised.
The interesting thing is that old Donald seems to have changed his mind as he dropped by Meet the Press on Sunday and told them:
"I'm not under the illusion that that's going to pass. They're going to come to me. They're going to want to raise it for the rich. Frankly, they're going to want to raise it for the rich more than anybody else. But the middle class has to be protected. The rich is probably going to end up paying more. And business might have to pay a little bit more. But we're giving a massive business tax cut."
The reason this is so significant is because it flies in the face of pretty much every modern Republican's ideals. But this isn't the ONLY thing that Donald has flipped on as he seems to have changed his mind a bit on minimum wage.
The presidential hopeful had previously said that he thinks "having a low minimum wage is not a bad thing for this country." However, on Sunday during his interview, the businessman said:
"I have seen what's going on. And I don't know how people make it on $7.25 an hour. Now, with that being said, I would like to see an increase of some magnitude. But I'd rather leave it to the states. Let the states decide."
At this point, we're wondering if Donald really IS a sleeper agent for the Democrats and has just been trolling the nation all along! LOLz!
