Queen Elizabeth is SO loved!
On May 15, Elizabeth's 90th birthday milestone (the royal's real b-day was on April 21), was celebrated with a two-hour ceremony looking back on her long reign as the Queen of England as well as her colorful life. The special event was even broadcast live on UK television so all of her subjects could participate in the fun!

In true royal fashion, the lavish bash at Windsor Castle included a big horse show (we're talking 900 ponies here, people), 1,500 performers, and archival footage narrated by f*cking Helen Mirren. Not to mention the Brit's fam, including Prince Charles, Prince Harry, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, were also in attendance!
Woah! The monarch is truly one lucky gal!
To make the ceremony even sweeter, Elizabeth's son Charles gave a personal address to his momma, saying:
"… it could not be more fitting that quite a different group which also enjoys The Queen's unfailing interest and support — horses, of myriad breeds and color — will join the 600 sailors, soldiers, airmen and woman who make up this evening's celebration…. I can only offer my warmest thanks to all the participants, performers and volunteers taking part in this evening's Celebration. And I hope you will join me in wishing my mother, The Queen, the happiest of very special birthdays."
Aww! How adorable!
Other precious moments included the Queen's emotional reaction to footage from her 1947 wedding to longtime husband Prince Philip as well as segments from her teenage years. We imagine the memories must have been quite moving for the political figure!
As for the fashion, the great-grandmother donned a seafoam green dress and matching jacket by Angela Kelly while her grandsons stuck to traditional garb in their official Windsor uniforms. Suffice it to say, granddaughter-in-law Kate stole the show in a whopping $5,995 Dolce & Gabbana lace dress oddly paired with a $99 red Zara blazer.
Happy birthday once again, Elizabeth! We hope you have another great year!
