Jenna Fischer may have had perfect chemistry with John Krasinski on The Office, but apparently sharing the screen with Matt LeBlanc didn't result in the same onscreen magic.
The actress will be recast as the female lead of CBS' upcoming sitcom Man With a Plan this fall.
According to reports, Fischer's role is being replaced for the comedy's debut season due to a chemistry issue with the Friends alum.

Though the actress appeared in CBS' pilot presentation for its upfronts on Wednesday, network entertainment head Glenn Geller admitted that while Fischer is a "phenomenal actress," they think they "can do better in terms of chemistry" between the two leads!
Speaking to The Wrap, the exec said:
"Look, recasting on pilots happens all the time… She is a phenomenal actress. It just wasn't the right actress for the right role, ultimately, when we saw the pilot."
And just to hammer in that there was no other behind-the-scenes drama responsible for the recasting, a rep for CBS added that Fischer was "wonderful to work with" both on screen and off.
It really does sound like the network just wanted to go in a different direction with the lead couple — after all, it's pretty impossible to follow up the magic that was Jim and Pam's relationship.
