*** WARNING: Spoilers For Empire Ahead ***
How is this still the same show from back in Season One??
Empire finished off its second season on Wednesday with quite a few bangs, but we're just sitting here trying to keep our heads from spinning.
While the anticipated episode made good on its promise to kill off a Lyon, the rest of the hour featured so much new information that we barely know where to begin!

The finale kicked off three weeks after Jamal's (Jussie Smollett) red carpet shooting, which left him in a wheelchair and without the desire to ever sing again.
Unfortunately for Hakeem (Yazz), that meant he no longer had a musical act for his random wedding to fellow singer Laura (Jamila Velazquez).
Elsewhere, Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) was busy trying to convince Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), Lucious (Terrence Howard), and Andre (Trai Byers) that it was really Anika (Grace Gealey) who pushed her down the stairs… but no one believed her.
Luckily, the wedding added some very welcome sensible drama as Laura left Hakeem at the alter, opening up the venue for Lucious to marry Anika just so she wouldn't have to testify against him in court!
But that's not all — the episode ended on a cliffhanger with newlywed Anika getting attacked by a pissed off Rhonda… with one of them falling to their death!!!

We're pretty positive Anika is fine since she's integral to literally every plot, and as much as we adore Kaitlin Doubleday, Rhonda is a little more expendable.
Although… we all know they both survived! LOLz!
Will U be tuning in for Season Three this September on FOX??
