This could become really big -- and it sounds horrifying.

It's obvious Heidi Montag has learned her lesson.
In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Heidi opened up on the dark and difficult period following her ten plastic surgeries. The reality star revisited the painful topic in honor of the tenth anniversary of The Hills.
Even though Montag's husband Spencer Pratt had advised her against the surgeries, Ms. Montag decided to undergo the procedures due to deep insecurities and feeling like she was at an "emotionally empty place". It's a time she doesn't like to look back on, especially since it tore her family apart.
Recalling those trying years, H.M. revealed:
"It was the hardest time of my life and I feel like I've become a lot stronger from it. And [it] made me look at myself and reflect, ‘Why did I do that? Maybe I needed to have more confidence and be more secure in who I was and not thinking so much about my eyebrows or my this or that."
Well, hindsight is always 20/20. All the reality star can do is now move on.
As for why the blonde made the great mistake in the first place, she reasoned:
"I think that I just became so consumed by this character that I was playing that I became that girl and lost track of this small-town Colorado girl," she says. "I just love the simple life. I like nature, I like different things and I kind of became consumed in a different world."
Makes sense to us! Based on what other cast members have described in the past, the pressure to play pretend was INTENSE!
To make matters worse, the pair felt totally unsupported by their costars when they needed them the most:
"Everyone else in the show is in the clubs and dealing with this and that, and we were dealing with life-threatening, severe things. We were just emotionally empty and spent at that point, and we just really needed support and set up a team, and not to be cut down by everyone."
Hmm, inneresting perspective! We wonder why their castmates didn't reach out.
Summing up her horrendous ordeal, the 29-year-old stated:
"Regret's a hard word because I'm trying not to regret things in my life because that can be a dark path to go down. But I certainly wouldn't do it again and I certainly wouldn't recommend it and I have learned a lot from it and I just want to move forward in a positive way."
Bouncing off of Heidi's remorse, Pratt advised women to think twice before they get a cosmetic operation:
"I would definitely say [to] women and men who think there's such a thing as a minor surgical procedure, the second someone is hacking your body it no longer becomes minor surgery."
Dayum! S.P. really put the plastic surgery scene on BLAST!
So, what do YOU think of the beauty's confession?
