This famous children series just got A LOT cooler!
Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda and Emily Blunt will star in the sequel to Disney's 1964 classic Mary Poppins called Mary Poppins Returns!

While the 33-year-old actress will play the famous English nanny, the Broadway star will play a street lamplighter named Jack. It will take place in Depression-era London where it will follow the now-grown up kids — Jane and Michael Banks — along with Michael's three children.
After an insurmountable setback, the brood is visited by Poppins who brings sunshine back into their lives.
The film will be directed by Rob Marshall and the script will be penned by David Magee based on The Mary Poppins Stories by P.L. Travers.
It will hit theatres December 25, 2018.
