More and more information from both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's pasts continue to come to light.
As we're sure you're well aware, sh*t hit the fan last month when the 30-year-old actress slammed Depp with not only divorce papers but also years of domestic abuse allegations. With tons of he-said, she-said floating around, no one really knows which side to believe at this point.
On one side, you have Amber's camp saying Johnny's "drug and alcohol abuse has increased dramatically in recent years, as has his violent behavior."
These allegations match up with serious substance abuse problems the Black Mass star has spoken about in the past.

For instance, in a 2005 interview with Rolling Stone, Depp cited going through a "darker period" in the early 1990s — around the same time of his tumultuous relationship with Kate Moss.
You may recall J.D. was arrested for criminal mischief following a shouting match with Moss after he trashed a hotel room. Over 11 years ago, he explained :
"I spent years poisoning myself. I was very, very good at it. But finally I was faced with a critical decision: Do I want to continue to be a dumb-a– or do I want to not be a dumb-a–? It was best to stop. Now I look back and say, 'Why? Why did I do that?'"
He added that he never drank for the fun of it, but because something more serious was going on:
"I never had that. It was never about recreation. Not. Ever. That was never my motivation."
Three years later in 2008, Johnny echoed these sentiments with the same magazine, but claimed to have the problem under control with then-partner Vanessa Paradis:
"I'm a dumb-a–, and I poisoned myself for years. Now I understand things better."
Also in 2008, the Kentucky native told The Boston Globe:
"I never wanted to be the guy people looked at. I felt I could only be myself when I was alone, that I turned into some kind of novelty. The only way I could get through that time was to drink."
In 2004, The Chicago Tribune reports Johnny told Playboy:
"I was never a coke head or anything like that. I always despised that drug. I thought it was a waste of time, pointless. But I was poisoning myself with alcohol and medicating myself. I was trying not to feel things, and that's ridiculous."
In one of the earliest interviews where the musician addressed past issues with alcohol, Depp told Vanity Fair in 1997:
"Oh, man, yeah. Johnny was unhappy then … It was a pretty dark time for me. I don't know what was going on. Well, I was poisoning myself beyond belief," he said, then pointed to his soda. "I'd eat that glass, man. There was a lot of liquor. A lot of liquor. I was pretty unhealthy."
Lastly, and maybe most importantly in this case, Johnny has directly admitted to having a temper when talking to GQ last year. He said he drew on his "old hillbilly rage" to accurately portray cold-blooded gangster Whitey Bulger:
"That's not necessarily that far from the surface at times."
Wow. That's certainly a lot of information…

On the other side, you have Johnny's team saying Amber is simply blackmailing the 52-year-old actor for money — refuting any claims of physical abuse. It doesn't help matters that A.H. has also been arrested for domestic violence in the past.
In fact, in the Texas native's 2014 feature in W Magazine, Amber admitted to having a "trailer park" attitude:
"Whenever my old friends meet someone I'm involved with romantically, they immediately warn them: ‘She may look refined, but when she's angry, she can go trailer park really fast.'"
This came back to light Tuesday when reports of her assaulting her former girlfriend were revealed.
