As you may know, there's A LOT of controversy surrounding the death of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and on Tuesday night her dad opened up a bit more about his thoughts on the matter during an interview with 20/20!

There have already been some snippets of Brown's interview released that show the grieving dad oddly admitting he had sex with a ghost and getting a bit emotional talking about Bobbi and Whitney.
However, during the FULL interview, the 47-year-old ended up opening up about his abusive relationship with his ex-wife as he talked to Robin Roberts, saying that he did indeed hit Houston once while he was "trying to maintain sobriety." Woof.
Of course the songwriter says that any reports that claim he is a "woman beater" or "violent toward" Whitney are "just lies" as he dished:
"I've never been a violent man toward a woman ever."
Uhm, except you just admitted you hit your ex… and then there was that whole reportedly being charged with misdemeanor battery for alleged domestic violence in 2003.
Aside from Bobby doing his best to convince the world he didn't commit an awful act right after admitting he did it — we know, we don't get it either — Whitney's ex talked a bit about using drugs around the house while Bobbi was there!

The controversial singer and songwriter admitted that he would get high while nannies took care of their baby girl but said:
"I always made it a point to not let her see me or my wife in that type of situation. It's hard when you're doing it everyday, it's really hard."
In reference to taking care of Bobbi and being there for their daughter, BB even admitted:
"We could have been better. We should have been better."
It would have been nice to say that Bobby did this interview to just clear the air, but sadly and conveniently he has his memoir, Every Little Step, dropping June 13 — so we guess there's always an angle.
A lot of what the Brown talked about is also in his book as he dished on using cocaine, alcohol, and crack-laced joints saying:
"The last few years of our marriage it was terrible. Both of us trying to be clean, or one of us trying to be clean… it was terrible."

But once again, after seemingly admitting to something, Bobby does his best to cover his own tracks by saying he wasn't the one to blame for Whitney's problem saying:
"It wasn't me who started her. I take my part and I take it hard for me even being a part of it, but we all have our own minds and some of us are stronger than others."
We're not trying to blame Bobbi's dad, but admitting to terrible behavior and then trying to defend yourself doesn't necessarily paint you in the best light.
However, it's very obvious that the musician is still broken up about everything as he hasn't visited either Whitney or his daughter's graves as he talked about what he regrets about his little girl's final days:
"The two days before what happened to my daughter, she was to come out here to Los Angeles to me. If I could get those two days back… my daughter would be here. All I want is those two days back."
Brown may have moved on with his new wife Alicia Etheredge, and the couple is expecting their third kid together, but we doubt that Bobby will get over his tragic past anytime soon.
What do you think of Bobby's revealing interview?!
