How you may ask? Well, the Duke of Cambridge appeared on the cover of Attitude magazine becoming the first British royal to grace the front of an LGBT publication. YAS KWEEN FUTURE KING!
This historic cover comes after the father of two's May sit down, organized by the magazine, with nine people from the community at Kensington Palace. The meeting allowed the royal to learn about bullying and the weight in can place on a person's mental health.
"No one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason and no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives…The young gay, lesbian and transgender individuals I met through Attitude are truly brave to speak out and to give hope to people who are going through terrible bullying right now. Their sense of strength and optimism should give us all encouragement to stand up to bullying wherever we see it."
Did anyone else just tear up?
Not to mention, William and his wife Kate Middletonjust paid their respects to the victims of the Orlando shooting at the American embassy in London. Talk about being a good role model!
The editor of Attitude, Matthew Todd, seemed more than thrilled to have William on the cover as he added:
"I am very happy that the future King of The United Kingdom agrees this must stop and I would urge parents in particular to raise their voices in their communities to ensure that every school protects – really protects – all children."
AH-Mazing! Be sure to snag the magazine's July issue as it is now available for download, or you can grab a hard copy when it hits stands on June 22.
