This is unimaginably tragic.
The team did release a statement on the matter, though (below):
Only Luann de Lesseps would do something like this!
In an interview with Daily Mail, the Money Can't Buy You Class singer opened up about her upcoming New Year's Eve wedding to Thomas D' Agostino.
While many of Lesseps' Real Housewives of New York buddies aren't too thrilled about the engagement (Tom dated a few of the gals), she's going full-steam ahead with her whirlwind romance. In fact, the beauty intends to sing her man a "romantic song" after they tie the knot in Palm Beach, Florida!
Though many fans are most familiar with Lu's hits like Money Can't Buy You Class or her most recent smash Girl Code, the reality star revealed that she'll pen a new track for the special occasion:
"I have something really romantic coming up. I'm working on a song for the wedding."
All we can say is — we CAN'T wait. We need this new single now!
"I want to do a traditional wedding dress because I eloped the first time. I've never been married in church, so I want to do a traditional, elegant long dress with lace. And then I want to change for his birthday and wear like a party dress and then it's New Year's Eve so I'm thinking sparkle. I'm doing three dresses. Why not? Why not wear three instead of just one?' We're getting married in Palm Beach so I want it be this tropical atmosphere."
Well, go big or go home! It sounds like this party will be one for the history books.
To make matters even better, the countess is doing her best to ignore the backlash from fans and her costars:
"I think some of the women are happier than others. I think some of the women are a little jealous because they know Tom and he's a great guy, so some of the reactions were not what I expected. I try not to let those things get to me because I'm happy, I'm getting married, I've got great plans and nothing they can say will ruin my happiness. I'm having a great time, I'm feeling really lucky that I found love again, that I found my soul mate and that is keeping me really happy."
Hey, if it makes Luann happy, then so be it!
So, what do YOU think about Luann's wedding deets?
