But it looks like the songstress is focusing on her TV hosting career instead, because she reportedly signed up to be the next host of America's Next Top Model!
Banks announced that though she is staying on as an executive producer, she would be passing the torch as host for the revamped 14-episode order.
"Rita is in a dream world as she's landed the ultimate gig. She'll be mixing her two passions of fashion and music and taking over from a TV institution in Tyra."
The insider explained that execs wanted to "inject some freshness" back into the long-running series, and the 25-year-old is just the right person for the job! The source added:
"Next Top Model bosses wanted to inject some freshness back into the format and they see Rita as the ideal new face. She is releasing a new single later this year to coincide with it."
While it's hard to imagine anyone but the OG at the helm, the idea of Rita's revamped version certainly piques our interest!
Do YOU think the songstress can successfully rebrand ANTM?
