This is sure to get everybody talking!

We knew that Calvin Harris' new single was coming, and we figured it was going to be controversial — and we weren't disappointed when it dropped last night!

It's a track called Olé that features singer John Newman, and yes, we are TOTALLY wondering if it's about his ex Taylor Swift!!

The single definitely seems to fit a storyline surrounding Tay Tay and her new love, Tom Hiddleston — as you'll see with the track's lyrics (below) — but that's apparently not the entire story.

For one, while Calvin hasn't commented on the inspiration for the love song, Taylor's people already are, with a Swift insider telling Us Weekly:

"People are just making assumptions to get attention for a song. There's no way it could be about Tom."

That could be true, or it could be classic deflection; then again, Calvin's people have confirmed that the track was recorded months ago. But the decision to drop it now…

Another insider spoke out on it today — this time to E! News — about how the song definitely absolutely 100% is not about Taylor (below):

"This song has nothing to do with Taylor. He likes this song a lot. People can interpret the song how they want to, but in the end it's just an artist expression."

Just an artist expression.

Regardless, take a look at some of Newman's key lyrics and judge for yourself what you think it might be referencing:

"Low-key, you won't tell none of your friends about me

(You won't tell them I occupy your dreams and your thoughts)

Look at what we have started

I feel so good when I leave your apartment…

I know, there's no telling how far you can go

And you won't want to hear about my love and my lust

Babe that I have been feeling

I kiss you once, then I stare at the ceiling

Olé, you bring too much sunlight to my day

And only you can chase the pain away

You bring too much sunlight to my day, my day

My heart speaks

I ain't seen you or been with you for weeks

But I see online that you've begun to be

A good girl and take trips with your boyfriend

Being attentive, continue to pretend

But no, cause there's no telling how far you can go

You've hidden my name on your phone so you can

Call me to tell me you've been going through hell

Left him alone and you booked in a hotel

Olé, you bring too much sunlight to my day

And only you can chase the pain away

You bring too much sunlight to my day, my day

I can't control myself around you

I can't control myself around you

I can't control myself around you

I can't control myself around you

I can't control myself around you

And I'm singing…!

Olé, you bring too much sunlight to my day

And only you can chase the pain away

You bring too much sunlight to my day, my day

Olé, you bring too much sunlight to my day

And only you can chase the pain away"

Oooh!!! Juicy!!

About Taylor or not, considering the time of its release along with the greater storyline surrounding these two ex-lovers, surely it all will amount to good business for Mr. Harris (and by extension, Newman!).

Breakup song?! Revenge for a bad ex??

Or just a very specific coincidence?!
