Emma Watson just gave Harry Potter and the Cursed Child two wands up!
The actress was beaming with delight on Wednesday when she went to see J.K. Rowling's London-based stage play — and got to meet the woman taking over her role as Hermione Granger!
After the performance, Watson went backstage to meet her "older self" Noma Dumezweni, and was totally smitten with the actress!

The 26-year-old posted a bunch of photos with the cast on Facebook, and praised Dumezweni's performance as the adult Hermione (the play takes place 19 years after the events of Deathly Hallows)!
Thankfully, HP fans can breathe easy knowing Watson thought the play as was "AMAZING," writing in the caption:
"Some things about the play were, I think, possibly even more beautiful than the films. Having seen it I felt more connected to Hermione and the stories than I have since Deathly Hallows came out, which was such a gift. Meeting Noma and seeing her on stage was like meeting my older self and have her tell me everything was going to be alright, which as you can imagine was immensely comforting (and emotional)!"
We couldn't be happier knowing the OG Hermione had such a magical time seeing The Cursed Child!
