There's no doubt Kate Middleton is "absolutely delighted" Pippa Middleton will be married to hedge-fund manager James Matthews next year.
But here's what we're wondering… What role will the future Queen play in her little sister's wedding?
As you can imagine, Prince William's love is torn between standing next to Pippa at the altar, as is customary — or sitting back and letting the bride have her moment.

Veteran royals author Judy Wade explains:
"Kate would upstage her sister. It's a tricky situation for Pippa. She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well? But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention. Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible."
Not to mention, Kate will probably need to tend to her young kiddos Prince George and Princess Charlotte to make sure they don't steal any of the shine, either.
Hmmm. Just things to consider!
Do U think Kate should be Pippa's matron of honor? How involved should The Royals be?? SOUND OFF in the comments!
