Almost two decades later, and Helga is still rocking that power brow.
Our inner ‘90s kids were overjoyed to learn that Hey Arnold! would be getting a TV movie that finally explains what happened to Arnold's parents!
Now we're even more excited. Because the first pictures for Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie were revealed at Nickelodeon's San Diego Comic-Con panel, and it looks like everyone's favorite football head and his friends are getting a slightly updated look!

Original series creator Craig Bartlett, who is writing and executive producing the upcoming special, said the animators were "really careful" when making alterations to the characters.
"We knew it was time to basically do another pass at all the character designs, but we were really careful. As you can see, the characters are still who they are and their attitudes are the same."
That's for sure! Gerald is still the coolest cat in the city with a comfier looking hoodie, Phoebe upped her fashion game, Helga is sporting an updated dress, and Arnold is now clearly wearing a plaid shirt under his shirt and jacket. (We're def gonna miss that kilt look, though.)
Bartlett explained that all the original characters are returning — including Francesca Marie Smith as Helga, Anndi McAfee as Phoebe, and Justin Shenkarow as Harold.
Arnold and Gerald will be played by new voice actors Mason Vale Cotton and Benjamin "Lil' P-Nut" Flores Jr., respectively — but the OG Arnold and Gerald (Lane Toran and Jamil Smith) will lend their voices to other roles in the film.
