While David's role as the title character in Lebowski may've been small, his career in Hollywood lasted for over six decades. Previous credits include Santa Claus: The Movie, Blazing Saddles, The Producers, and many more.
In fact, Huddleston was a renowned character actor and starred in hits alongside Hollywood legends like John Wayne, James Stewart, and Charles Bronson. On his lengthy career, Sarah dished:
"He was never the star. He got to work with or become friends with all kinds of people, including stars, and it always amazed him. This was a kid who grew up without electricity and running water in his home until he was 10 or 12 and he was so amazed as he looked back at what happened in his life."
Wow. Prior to his acting days, David was born in Vinton, Virginia and eventually became an officer in the U.S. Air Force. Apparently, the late artist turned to performing thanks to the G.I. Bill. David studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC .
